Popular Music star, Olanrewaju Abdul-Ganij Fasasi popularly known as Sound Sultan is dead, Wapkosh Media has gathered.
The singer who was recently diagnosed with throat cancer has died in the early hours of today.
The report of his death was confirmed by his family with an official statement.
"It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing Multi-talented veteran singer, rapper songwriter, Olanrewaju Abdul-Ganij Fasasi aka Sound Sultan.He passed away at the age of 44 follow a hard fought battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma.He is survived by his wife, Three children and his siblings. We his family will appreciate the utmost privacy as we grips with this tragic loss.Signed Dr. Kayode Fasasi (For the Family)".
