Grammy Award-Winning Nigerian singer, Wizkid and Wave making songstress Tems have both grabbed five nominations apiece at the 2021 Soul Train Awards which is scheduled to hold at the end of november 2021.
Wizkid and Tems were nominated for the 2021 Soul Train Awards in 5 categories each as the nominees list where were announced on Tuesday 3rd of November 2021.
The Soul Train Awards is an annual music award show that rewards the best of the best in African-American culture music and entertainment.
This year’s nominees list is headed by singer H.E.R who grabbed nominations including Album of the Year and Best R&B/Soul Female Artist. Jasmine Sullivan and Chris Brown are just behind H.E.R with six nominations each.
Wizkid and Tems are just behind with 5 nominations apiece at the 2021 Soul Train Awards.
Wizkid is nominated for Album of the Year with Made in Lagos.
Tems is nominated for the Best New Artist award.
They were also jointly nominated for the Song of The Year, Video of The Year, The Ashford and Simpson songwriter’s award and Best Collaboration for the groundbreaking single, Essence.
